References and Prompts from talk on The Spirit of Inquiry, February 27, 2024

FOR YOUR PRACTICE:

Prompts:  How do you experience the difference between unhelpful inner questioning and helpful questioning?

Inquiry examples – not to engage analysis or proliferation, but openness, caring interest:

When grappling with difficult emotions/states: ‘what is at the heart of this?’

Situational:  What am I learning from this?

Present moment questions:

What is here now (Bodily or sense experience being known)?

What’s it like (affective/heart/felt sense)?

Is awareness present (knowing & not-knowing/mystery)?
